Blessings

Today is lab and chemo day at the hospital. Jack is accustom to the hospital staff now and overall doing a great job with his treatment.
The past month brought news that Jack’s antibody titers stabilized and were not going down. That being said we are completing this weeks chemo, and after the Thanksgiving holiday begin a new course of action. Adding some oral and drugs to “beef up” the process in hopes we can get his titers down in 8 weeks. The team continues to work hard on making sure Jack is comfortable, we are comfortable, and we move forward with the same goal in mind. We remain optimistic.
With Thanksgiving approaching I have began the yearly tasks of counting my blessings. This year there are so many. But today I am feeling extremely blessed by Jacks overall improvement we have seen in the past 2 months. His physical stamina, his increased range of motion, his decrease in behaviors and his gains with speech & language skills. Prior to this we were living in fear of progression on disease. We have seen Jack bounce back and make promising steps forward. So thankful for modern medicine and a team of doctors who have interest in rare disease. Who don’t give up. Who are focused. Who will battle this disease.

  1. Jack has great parents. Parenting a child with a disease such as Jacks is tiring, both physically and mentally. You have sacrificed so much to care for Jack. You have all of my admiration and many prayers your way.

  2. Great Page! So happy to hear the good news. I can’t wait for our boys to meet someday. Keep up the good work!

  3. My thoughts and prayers are with Jack and his family. I pray everyday that a cure is found for these diseases. I am shocked how much my favorite nephew Jarrett and Jack look a like. God puts a special place in our hearts for these AMAZING kids.
